How to Get out of a Sprint Early-Termination Fee

Most cell phone plans have early termination fees and everyone hates them (except maybe cell phone companies).  The good news is you may be able to get out of it.  The trick:

1. Don't call support 
2. Go to a Sprint store
3. Be polite
4. Have a good reason! (They probably won't go for "I want an iPhone")

After hours on the phone with support I finally tried a store.  They were very helpful and actually understanding with my issue of having too little reception to make calls from my apartment.  The money I saved came in handy when I went to buy my new iPhone!
